ICA takes an individual approach to employment assistance services. 

Clients can expect to:

  • Develop effective job search tools such as:  resumes, cover letters, thank you notes, reference pages, etc.
  • Practice interviewing skills
  • Identify employment interests, skills, experience, and work history
  • Identify resources for finding available positions
  • Develop networking strategies
  • Explore career paths and build skills

  • 20-Minute Résumé and Job Search Assistance at the Ridgedale Library
    Thursday, May 8, 10 a.m. – noon
    In your 20-minute appointment, a certified professional résumé writer will work with you to make your résumé the best it can be.   • Take another look at the training programs offered by Goodwill/Easter Seals.  Once you have completed one of the programs, Banking and Finance, Medical Office, Contact Center, Construction, Automotive Service, or Retail, Goodwill/Easter Seals will assist you in finding a job related to your training.   

New Training Opportunities:

  • Interested in a construction job?  There is some great training available through HIRED - 4-Week Green Construction Trades Course.  In 2013, the average wage for construction course participants who found a construction-related position was $15.43.

  • Cullinary SKills Training Program at Catholic Charities Opportunity Center in Minneapolis.  A 10 week class to prepare for food industry jobs.  Click here for more information.
