What is the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign? For more than 30 years, Minnesota FoodShare has coordinated the March Campaign, the annual grassroots food and fund drive that provides more than half the food distributed by 300 food shelves throughout the state. The March Campaign is the only statewide effort where every dollar donated goes directly to food shelves to purchase food for the hungry.
You can support ICA Food Shelf in the March Campaign in several ways:
- Empty Bowls. Join us for the 19th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for hunger. Attend the event and volunteer. Learn more here.
- Food Drive. Many schools, congregations, and businesses are holding food drives during March. All food collected in our community goes to support our neighbors. Find a food drive near you, or organize one. Learn more here.
- Donate. Make a donation to ICA Food Shelf. When you donate to ICA Food Shelf, you are supporting neighbors in our community. Donate today.
- Volunteer. We rely on our amazing volunteers! Whether you volunteer at the food shelf, in our office, or at a special event, you make a difference. Learn more here.
Your support for the March Campaign matters! We'll track every dollar raised and every pound of food donated in March. At the end of the month, ICA Food Shelf will receive additional funds from Minnesota FoodShare based on how much we raise.
Thank you for your support!
