Big Island & Back!

Join us for the 7th annual event to benefit ICA Food Shelf!

Participants go to Big Island and Back in a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard for a 10K paddle on Lake Minnetonka. It's not so much a race as it is FUN! This is a family-friendly activity and a great opportunity to get out on the lake. Join us after the paddle at Excelsior Brewery for a post-event celebration with food, drinks, music, and log rolling!

Tour de Tonka (Virtual!)

The annual Tour de Tonka bike ride has become a staple of the west metro community, growing from 819 riders in its inaugural year of 2006 to nearly 3,500 riders annually. Riders from more than 166 Minnesota cities, 73 counties and 42 states have participated in the event. Countless riders from across the state tell us each year that Tour de Tonka is Minnesota’s Ride.

Community Members Bagging for Tips

ICA Food Shelf is looking for volunteers within the community to Bag for Tips at our local Cub Foods! Proceeds of this event support our Turkey Give Away, which provides holiday meals for those in need this season.

Cub Foods Minnetonka (Hwy 7 & CR 101) is a long-time supporter of ICA Food Shelf. These are scheduled on two of their busiest days of the year!

This volunteer opportunity is open to anyone and everyone in our community! We encourage you to wear your civic name tag (if applicable) so they can thank you for your service.

Youth must be 15 years of age to participate.   Shifts are 9:00-12:00, 12:00-3:00 and 3:00-6:00 on both Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26th and 27th.

Volunteers needed! Please email Shirley (Shirley@icafoodshelf.org) for more information. Or click here to sign up.
